Our US office handles all applications, registrations, and inquiries from around the world. All classes are held in Guatemala.

About Us
Miguel Angel Asturias Spanish School was founded in 1995 by a group of four experienced Spanish teachers. Two of the original founders, Edna Godinez and Juan Herrera, continue to own and operate the school today.
We are certified by the Guatemalan Ministry of Education (Mineduc) and the Guatemalan Tourism Institute (INGUAT), and are a founding member of the Association of Spanish Schools of Quetzaltenango (ACEEQ).

We encourage you to fill out and submit our inquiry/registration form, as the information it provides helps us to better know your interests and answer your questions.
You are also welcome to contact us by phone or by email.
If you are already in Quetzaltenango (Xela), please go directly to the school to inquire or register. We are a five minute walk from the central park.
